Can someone tell me what this car part is called?

What are those things called that goes on the body of the car above the tire….i mostly see them in chrome and they add a nice touch to the round part of the body above the tire?? im trying to explain it the best i can….thanks
its little chrome trim that goes around the round part of the front and back fenders on the body above the tire….i want it for my 1999 toyota camry and can not find it.

They are called wheel opening mouldings or the larger ones on trucks are called flares (normally black or can be painted to match)

they are called fenders and they can be all around the car not just by the tire outline. usually the purpose for them is to prevent dents

Sounds like trim to me. You can get it to put above your door frame also (for the windows). Then again, maybe not.
